Software Engineering Lead – MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI

Experience: 5+ years

• Design and architect database, schema and reporting using best practices, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability
• Assisting in production problem resolution as needed, including occasional off-hour support
• Working on projects through the full development life cycle including stakeholder demos and presentations, project scoping and requirements definition, prototyping, development, testing, and deployment
• Staying up to date and providing recommendations on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices that should be incorporated into the company’s development efforts
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing databases and reporting, working with technologies such as MS SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud
• Solid experience on database (MS SQL Server) development such as stored procs/views/functions etc.
• Experience migrating SSRS reports to Power BI
• Expert in writing, tuning, and troubleshooting MS SQL queries
• Proven solid communication and collaboration skills
