Solar Energy Specialist

Job Description:

As a solar Project Engineer candidate shall be required to work on Solar power systems. The role shall

be including all the responsibilities related to assigned solar project from concept to reality; Which

includes Engineering Co-ordination, Planning, Procurement, Site Execution, Co-ordination, Liosioning.

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding Project Requirement including Engineering, Planning, forecasting and

execution.

2. Should be able to plan and monitor Civil Executions at site such as Fencing, Piling,

construction, Roads, culverts and drainage etc

o MMS erection

o Module mounting

o

3. Should be able to do Commercial Negotiations for Civil related tasks.

4. Should be able to do commercial negotiations with contractors for electrical services for

such as

a) Transmission Line

b) Cable Laying

c) Cable termination

d) Cable stringing

e) Inverter installation

f) Junction box installations

g) And all other solar plant installation works DC & AC works

5. Should be able to do MIS related to project and activites

6. Should be able to manage MW scale Projects executions

7. Need to have Connections with both Civil & Electrical Contractors.

8. Coordination with client for design and technical clarifications.

9. Working with site managers and other customer superiors for timely execution of works

10. Should be able to handle workers at site for timely execution of the works

11. Should be able to Monitor project progress, maintained site records, and ensure taken up

jobs are finished in predefined timeline

12. Preparation and implementation of checklists, Field Quality Plans (FQPs), and Material

quality plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

13. Maintain Technical work procedure for electrical activities such as inverter installation,

transformer installation, switchgear installation, cable installation, etc.

14. Flair for adopting modern construction methodologies in compliance with Quality/ HSE

standards

15. Conducting meetings with vendors to resolve quality issues and drive continual

improvement. & Providing on-job training to vendor supervisors for adherence to quality

procedures, safety practices, and compliance requirements.
