Job Description:

• Food Preparation & CookingAssist in preparing South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, vada, uttapam, sambhar, rasam, chutneys, curries, rice varieties, and tiffin items
• Follow standard recipes and portion control as per hotel guidelines
• Support live counters and buffet service when required
• Ensure timely preparation for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets
• Kitchen OperationsAssist senior chefs in daily mise en place
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils
• Follow FIFO and proper storage procedures
• Help with stock rotation and basic inventory checks
• Hygiene & SafetyFollow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards strictly
• Ensure personal hygiene and correct uniform standards
• Handle raw materials safely to prevent contamination
• Teamwork & LearningWork cooperatively with other kitchen staff
• Take instructions from senior chefs and learn hotel SOPs
• Assist in training new staff or helpers when required
