Sr Eng Database Admin

What success looks like in this role:

• Providing SQL Server database administration, database security and production support for critical systems with high availability requirements.
• Query Analyzer, SQL Server Profiler, SQL Server Agent, Data uploads, SQL jobs,
• SQL programming.
• Upgrading and maintaining SQL Server instances.
• Planning and executing database backup and recovery
• Providing database tuning for performance and stability
• Managing database monitoring
• Experience in Extracting, Transforming and Loading data from Excel, Flat file to SQL server
• Researching and recommending solutions that meets business needs and Enterprise operational requirements
• Experience with SQL Server Clustering and Replication, partition
• Manage and develop teams that maximize quality, efficiency, and productivity
• Lead team to achieve objectives
• Provides technical support to application development teams
• Partnering with other IT teams to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user.
• on-call support for the critical system issues
• Working with Application support, Server Support, Storage Support and Networking teams.
• Preferred Azure SQL Certification or expertise.
• Good communication skills to be able to communicate with team members and client
• Good Team and Inter-personal Skills

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 4-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
