• n this role, you will be joining our Cloud SRE team within Cloud & Productivity Engineering within Corporate Technology and Cloud (CT) as an SRE Team Lead. 

• This team focuses on applying software Engineering practices to IT operations tasks to maintain a scalable and reliable production environment for running LSEG applications.  

• We aim to improve automation and increase the systems self-healing capability. 

• Measure and optimise system performance, pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs. 

• Work alongside architects, developers, and other engineers to ensure efficient Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone platforms. 

• Active involvement in decision making areas such as networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery and governance.

Tech Profile/Essential Skills 

• 5 years SRE experience in supporting Cloud and hybrid Azure Platform solutions. 

• Can demonstrate solid working knowledge in setting up Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands on experience with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework. 

• Familiarity with Azure cloud native components. 

• 5 years demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines. 

• Engage in agile methodologies and participate actively in agile ceremonies. 

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaS) using tools like Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Gitlab. 

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers, team members, and management. 

• Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles, emphasizing continuous improvement and collaboration. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Team Leadership skills 

Preferred Skills and Experience  

• 5 years’ hands on experience with Windows/Linux Servers. 

• Proactive incident management with Azure-based troubleshooting.  

• Sound understanding of financial markets. 

• Adept at collaborating in diverse teams, with excellent communication skills. 

• Previous roles involving Azure administration, Azure development, and/or DevOps processes.
