Staff Nurse

Qualification: BSC Nursing OR GNM with Registrations

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining nursing standards, and supporting doctors and other healthcare staff in ensuring effective clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care as per physician instructions and hospital protocols.
• Monitor, record, and report patient’s vital signs and medical conditions accurately.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist doctors during procedures, rounds, and critical interventions.
• Perform and assist in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and other emergency procedures whenever required.
• Ensure strict compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital hygiene standards.
• Educate patients and attendants about medications, lifestyle modifications, and discharge care.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Handle and maintain medical equipment, supplies, and ward/ICU/OT stock.
• Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and follow established emergency protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid registration from Nursing Council.
• 0–3 years of experience (Freshers may also apply, if applicable).
• Strong clinical knowledge and practical nursing skills.
• Good communication, empathy, and patient-handling abilities.
• Ability to work in rotational shifts and under pressure.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
