About Portea Medical: Portea Medical is a leading healthcare provider offering high-quality in-home healthcare services, ensuring personalized care to patients. As part of our growth, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tracheostomy Care: Provide assistance in managing tracheostomy tubes, ensuring proper maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring for potential complications.
• CPAP & BiPAP Therapy: Administer CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) and BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) to patients with respiratory issues. Ensure the devices are functioning correctly and provide patient education on their usage.
• Suctioning: Perform suctioning procedures to ensure clear airways for patients with respiratory difficulties.
• Critical Care Nursing: Provide direct care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, managing medical equipment, and responding promptly to changes in patient conditions.
• Patient Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor the patient’s health status, documenting vital signs, symptoms, and interventions in accordance with care protocols.
• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, track patient responses, and ensure proper documentation.
• Patient Education & Support: Offer education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding the care plan, including treatment options and post-care instructions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for the patient.
• Infection Control: Ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent infections and adhere to hygiene protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring timely updates of all procedures, observations, and changes in the patient's condition.

Must needed :

• Nursing Degree/Diploma: Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
• Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in critical care or home healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of Medical Equipment: Proficient in operating medical equipment, including tracheostomy care tools, CPAP/BiPAP machines, and suctioning devices.
• Thinking: Ability to make quick, informed decisions in emergency situations.
• Team Player: Collaborates well with other healthcare professionals.
