Supervisor/Incharge

Overseeing daily operations at poultry farms, Poultry Farm Supervisors manage staff, ensure animal welfare, maintain equipment, and monitor egg production.

They also enforce biosecurity measures and coordinate vaccinations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the day-to-day operations of the poultry farm
• Manage and train farm workers to ensure efficient and effective performance
• Monitor and maintain the health and welfare of the poultryEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
• Create and implement farm protocols and procedures
• Monitor and maintain the farm's equipment and machinery
• Maintain accurate records and reports on farm operations
• Communicate with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in poultry farming or a related field.
• Ability to manage a team of farm workers, including assigning tasks and overseeing their work.
• Knowledge of poultry health and nutrition, as well as experience with disease prevention and treatment.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with farm workers, suppliers, and customers.
• Familiarity with farm equipment and machinery, including the ability to operate and maintain them.
• Ability to manage the budget for the farm and ensure that all expenses are within the allocated budget.
• Flexibility and willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with additional education or training in agriculture or animal science preferred
