Job Title: System Administrator

Location: Sloka International School, Tukkuguda, Hyderabad

Job Summary: Sloka International School, Tukkuguda is seeking a dedicated and proactive System Administrator to manage and maintain the school's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth functioning of all hardware, software, networks, and other digital platforms used in the campus. This role is critical in supporting academic and administrative operations through reliable IT systems.

• Key Responsibilities: Maintain and monitor all network, server, and system infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, etc.)
• Install, configure, and regularly update operating systems, software, and security tools across staff and student devices.
• Provide technical support to staff and students on hardware/software issues and troubleshoot any IT-related problems.
• Manage user accounts, emails, data backups, and ensure cybersecurity protocols are implemented and followed.
• Ensure the school’s digital tools (e.g., MCB, biometric systems, smartboards, CCTV, projectors) function efficiently.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for procurement, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and support services.
• Maintain IT asset records, software licenses, and inventory.
• Conduct routine audits and maintenance to ensure system health and prevent downtime.
• Provide training and orientation to staff on the effective use of technology.
• Support in managing AV equipment during school events and online learning sessions if needed.
• Document technical processes and prepare reports for school management.

• Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar IT/System Admin role, preferably in an educational institution.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, server management, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience with school management systems like MCB, biometric systems, and educational technology is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and data privacy best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and respond to urgent technical issues swiftly.
