Tailor Requirement Description

Brand Overview

House of Ameyam, a premium brand under Earthy Souls Clothing LLP, specializes in ethnic

and contemporary wear for both men and women. The brand embodies a blend of traditional

craftsmanship and modern design, emphasizing refined silhouettes, high-quality fabrics, and

intricate detailing.

We are currently seeking skilled in-house tailors trained in both Indian and Western garment

construction techniques to support our growing production requirements.

1. Number of Tailors Required (Indicative)

Total Requirement: 1-2 tailors (initial phase)

2. Skill Requirements

A. Indian / Ethnic Wear Tailors

Garment Categories: Kurtas, Sherwanis, Bundis, Jackets, Blouses, Saree Sets, and Fusion

Ethnic Wear.

Required Competencies:

Strong understanding of ethnic garment construction, fitting, and finishing.

Experience handling premium fabrics such as silks, brocades, cotton-silks, and jacquards.

Precision in shoulder balancing, panel alignment, sleeve setting, and lining attachment.

Ability to match motifs, manage embroidered or textured fabrics, and maintain high

finishing standards.

Familiarity with measurement charts and custom fitting requirements for both men’s and

women’s ethnic garments.

B. Western / Contemporary Wear Tailors 

Garment Categories: Dresses, Shirts, Trousers, Jackets, Co-ord Sets, and Structured Tops.

Required Competencies:

Skilled in Western pattern construction and assembly.

Knowledge of clean finishing techniques — invisible zips, concealed seams, bias binding,

hemming, etc.

Experience in working with fabrics such as linen blends, cottons, viscose, and lightweight

structured weaves.

Capability to maintain proportion accuracy, balance, and consistency across pieces.

Ability to interpret tech packs and work under minimal supervision with focus on quality

and detail.

3. General Requirements

Proficiency in operating industrial machines (single needle, overlock, flatlock, buttonhole,

bar-tack).

Capability to read and follow operation breakdowns or technical sheets.

Understanding of quality control checkpoints during the sewing process.

Adaptability to brand-specific finishing standards.

Punctuality, discipline, and professional work ethics.

Team collaboration with supervisors, pattern masters, and QC personnel.

4. Employment Details

Location: House of Ameyam Production Unit, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-time, In-house

Working Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Monday – Saturday)

Trial Period: 1 month skill evaluation before confirmation

5. Compensation & Training

Compensation based on skill level and experience, aligned with industry standards.
