Job Description

Your Responsibilities
- Planning, executing the daily activities of Invoice processing, employee claims, Supplier maintenance and other AP related activities without any miss
- Execute internal controls of all the process which includes duplicate payment monitoring, invoice and supplier setup reviews, payments exceptions, voids etc.
- Monitor and review process trackers, unpaid items, debit balance and aged items
- Conduct process assessment, identify gaps and propose recommendations
- Monitor/deliver process and team metrics on daily basis. Prepare Service delivery pack and issue to management for review.
- Work with Manager/ onshore Supervisor(s) to assess training needs, address open issues
- Objective / goal setting, Review performance of the team and conduct regular one to one meeting and give constructive feedback
- Encourage team members to take active part in Classroom sessions and work towards achieving their Performance Goals
- Manage resources of the team; set priorities, conduct daily team huddle and plan workload to meet deadlines and achieve process TAT and SLA’s
- Work on “Continuous Improvement” processes, support organization initiatives (transformation projects) and work towards enhancing the existing processes
- Encourage / Motivate team members to bring their Process Improvement Ideas on table and work with them to get these Implemented
- Work with Team members to create visibility/Build Rapport and enhancing excellent customer Service skills
- Ensures all AP teams members are trained on new procedures and create back-up plans
- Collaborate with cross functional team to resolve issues or improve the process for future state
- Adhering to SOX and Internal Controls of the Process and Organization
Your Competencies
Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); understanding of internal control elements; strong problem solving and analytical skills; good interpersonal skills; ability to manage team members and deliverables; good written and oral communication skills; highly organized; ability to meet strict deadlines; ability to interview, hire, and train employees; excellent customer service skills; ability to plan, assign, and direct work; ability to multi-task
5+ years of experience in accounting/accounts payable experience is required; Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle; Six Sigma/TAPN Certification will be added advantage; Experience in procure to pay process improvement and application systems implementation; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Education & Certifications
A Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business is required with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred. Knowledge of Financial Services Industry preferred
Certified Public Accountancy or Chartered Accountancy a plus
Shift Timings
Work hours will be from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST (01:30 PM to 10:30PM IST) and may include late hours and/or weekend support – during close. Shift timing may be mapped as per region supported.
