Technical Engineer

Job Summary

The Entrance Automation Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of entrance automation systems including automatic gates, garage doors, rolling shutters, sliding glass doors, switchable glass film, and shading solutions and Home automation . The role involves hands-on fieldwork at residential, commercial, and industrial sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality automation installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service entrance automation systems such as:
• Sliding and swing gate automation
• Garage door automation
• Rolling shutters and industrial shutters
• Automatic sliding glass doors
• Switchable (smart) glass film systems
• Motorized blinds and shading solutions
• Perform electrical wiring, mechanical installation, alignment, and system setup
• Configure control panels, sensors, safety devices, remotes, access control, and smart controllers
• Test systems for smooth operation, safety, and compliance with standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation faults
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance
• Provide on-site technical support and breakdown services
• Explain system operation and safety features to customers
• Maintain installation checklists, service reports, and job documentation
• Follow safety guidelines, electrical codes, and company procedures

Work Environment

• Field-based role with travel to industrial sites
• May involve working in factories, plants, or outdoor environments
• Occasional weekend or after-hours support may be required
