Summary: As a Technology Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for creating both production and non-production cloud environments utilizing appropriate software tools tailored for specific projects or products. Your typical day will involve deploying automation pipelines and automating the processes of environment creation and configuration, ensuring that all systems are optimized for performance and reliability. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality across platforms, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - ensuring best practices in delivery, development, and deployment on Azure Data. Oversee development and maintenance of data pipelines, optimization of jobs etc. Drive integration with Azure ecosystem (ADF, Key Vault, Event Hub, etc.), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. Monitor workloads, optimize clusters, and drive efficiency in resource utilization to balance performance and cost in collaboration with stakeholders and other teams Partners with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions. Ensure team is following best practices on data security, compliance, operational excellence standards, and mentor team members to build a culture of technical excellence. Has extensive experience in design, development, deployment and operations of cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure in the data domain (also by using tools like Git, Azure DevOps and Terraform) Provides technical (servant) leadership to a team operating modern data engineering and analytics solutions on Databricks in Azure Cloud Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services. - Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and ETL processes. - Experience with cloud platforms and services, particularly in automation and orchestration. - Familiarity with data storage solutions and data warehousing concepts. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Engineering. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
