Job Description
- Making outbound calls to businesses (proprietors, companies, firms, traders, manufacturers, service providers, etc.) across India.
- Explaining GST, Income Tax, TDS, bookkeeping, and compliance services offered by Vertax GST Associates.
- Generating and fixing appointments for the sales/team leader with interested clients.
- Lead generation through cold calling, reference calling, and database provided by the company.
- Maintaining daily call reports, follow-up records, and updating data in Excel/CRM.
- Achieving monthly targets of appointments and lead conversion.
- Building long-term rapport with potential clients over the phone.
- Handling basic client queries regarding GST registration, return filing, accounting, etc.
- Coordinating with the sales team for meeting schedules.
- Required Skills:Excellent communication skills in Hindi & English (mandatory). Knowledge of local language (Gujarati / Marathi / Tamil / Telugu, etc. as per location) will be an advantage.
- Pleasant and confident voice with convincing ability.
- Basic knowledge of GST, Taxation, or Accounting is a big plus (training will be provided).
- Good convincing and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling and handling rejections.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations.
