Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in the travel industry. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their travel plans, providing expert advice, and ensuring a seamless travel experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
Travel Planning: Research, plan, and book various travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation.
Itinerary Development: Create detailed and customized travel itineraries that meet client expectations.
Destination Knowledge: Stay informed about popular and emerging travel destinations, travel regulations, and industry trends.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive travel experience.
Sales & Marketing: Promote travel packages and services to potential clients and participate in marketing initiatives.
Documentation: Prepare and manage travel-related documents, including tickets, visas, and travel insurance.
Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with travel vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure the best deals and services for clients.
Post-Travel Follow-Up: Follow up with clients after their trips to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role within the travel industry.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field is preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and software (e.g., GDS, Amadeus, Sabre).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
