Position: VTL Operator

Role : On Role

Work Location : Kothur , Hyderabad

• Job Setting and operating of VTL CNC machines like Hyundai, Jagdeep, ACE make machines.
• Fully Conversant with Fanuc operating systems and nomenclature of VTL machines.
• Machining exposure on medium size to larger size castings machining.
• Knowledge of both steel & cast-iron parts machining parameters
• Interpreting of machining processes & Engineering Drawing study
• Handling experience on measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Vernier caliper, dial indicators, Dial bore gauge, inside micrometers, thread gauges etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine maintenance: Keeping the machine running smoothly, performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Performs daily and regular cleaning and machine daily check sheet tasks on CNC machinery, as well as maintain good housekeeping surroundings(5S)
• Machine Set up: Following SOPs, Engineering drawings, and work orders to set up the machine.
• Machine Operation: Monitoring the machine and adjusting ensure accuracy and quality of product and machine. Recognizes / understand properly uses inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
• Quality Inspection: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Carry out 1st off inspection as per SOP / PFD drawings and write inspection report / Route cards, Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances.
• Safety: Following safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• CNC Programing: Entering programs for pre-programmed parts. Should have a sound knowledge on G-code & M-code programming & Tool off sets finalization, monitoring of tool wear outs time to time during production.

Qualification & Experience.

Mandatory for the Role

• ITI with 2 to 4 years experience on CNC VTL Machine Operating skills

Desired for the Role

• DME & BE with 2 to 4 years of experience on CNC VTL Machine Operating skills
