Job Description
- 1. Guest ServiceWelcome guests politely and guide them to their tables.
- Provide menus and explain dishes, specials, or resort packages.
- Ensure guests feel comfortable and attended to during their meal.
- 2. Taking OrdersTake accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
- Suggest dishes, drinks, or chef specials.
- Enter orders into the system or communicate with the kitchen.
- 3. Serving Food and DrinksServe meals, snacks, and beverages professionally.
- Ensure correct order delivery and proper presentation.
- Refill drinks and check if guests need anything else.
- 4. Table Setup and CleaningSet up tables with cutlery, plates, napkins, and glasses.
- Clear used plates and keep the table clean.
- Reset tables for the next guests.
- 5. Coordination with Kitchen and BarCommunicate orders with chefs and bartenders.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
- Inform guests if any item is unavailable.
- 6. Billing and PaymentsPrepare and present bills to guests.
- Handle cash, card, or room charge payments.
- Ensure correct billing.
- 7. Maintaining Hygiene and Resort StandardsFollow food safety and hygiene rules.
- Wear proper uniform and maintain grooming standards.
- Follow resort service protocols.
- Additional Duties in ResortsRoom service delivery
- Poolside or beach service
- Banquet or event service (weddings, conferences)
