Job Title: Restaurant Captain/Steward


Location: Himayat Nagar, Hyderabad

Salary: Up to ₹25,000 per month (Inclusive of all allowances)


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Restaurant Captain to lead our front-of-house team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. The ideal candidate will be a smart, confident, and articulate individual with a passion for hospitality, outstanding communication skills, and a proven ability to manage operations efficiently. If you have a degree or diploma in Hotel Management and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel, we invite you to join our vibrant team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Excellence:
  • Warmly greet and seat guests, anticipating their needs and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Present menus, provide detailed information on dishes, specials, and beverage pairings with confidence and clarity.
  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Maintain an impeccable dining ambiance, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to service standards.


  • Team Leadership & Mentorship:
  • Supervise, motivate, and guide junior staff (stewards/servers), assigning duties and ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Conduct pre-service briefings, ensuring the team is well-informed about daily specials, reservations, and service protocols.
  • Train new team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction techniques.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and high performance.


  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee table management, reservations, and guest flow to maximize seating efficiency and guest comfort.
  • Accurately process orders, handle billing procedures, and manage cash/card transactions.
  • Coordinate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Monitor inventory of service supplies and equipment, reporting needs to management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all hygiene, safety, and operational standards.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ year of proven experience as a Restaurant Captain, Senior Server, or Team Leader in a high-volume, quality dining establishment.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of local languages is a plus). Ability to articulate clearly and concisely with guests and team members.
  • Personality: Smart, confident, and poised demeanor with a natural ability to connect with people.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, train, and manage a service team.
  • Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of food, beverages, and general restaurant operations.
  • Guest-Centric: A genuine passion for hospitality and a relentless focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think quickly on your feet and resolve issues calmly and effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.
