Waiter / Steward

Job Description:

The Waiter / Steward is responsible for providing courteous and efficient food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience and maintaining hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests politely

Take food and beverage orders accurately

Serve food and drinks as per service standards

Ensure cleanliness of tables and dining area

Assist guests with menu selections and recommendations

Handle basic customer queries and complaints professionally

Coordinate with kitchen and service staff

Follow hygiene, safety, and hospitality guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 10th pass (preferred)

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service

Good communication and customer service skills

Well-groomed and polite attitude

Ability to work in shifts and under pressure

Experience:

0–3 years of experience as a Waiter / Steward (hospitality experience preferred)
