1. About the Role

Atlas Homestays is building its next generation of internal and customer-facing digital platforms.

We are looking for a Web Developer (React/Next.js) who can also assist with basic digital marketing and content tasks.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in:

• Modern web development (Next.js, React.js, JavaScript)
• Website updates and feature development
• UI/UX improvements
• SEO fundamentals
• Basic digital marketing
• Content and media management
• Startup environment learning

You will work directly with the founder on real projects, ranging from the Atlas website to internal tools/application development.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Web Development (Primary Responsibility)

• Build and maintain components using React.js and Next.js
• Assist in developing Atlas’s internal tools (PMS, admin dashboard, booking engine)
• Update and optimize the company website
• Work on responsive UI and UX improvements
• Add new content, pages, and dynamic features
• Integrate basic APIs (training provided if required)
• Maintain clean, structured code
• Use Git/GitHub for version control

B. Technical & IT Support

• Help manage hosting, website deployments, and basic tech troubleshooting
• Organize digital files, photos, and project documentation
• Assist with performance optimization, SEO, and analytics

C. Digital Marketing Assistance (Secondary Responsibility)

• Assist in creating website banners, graphics, and simple creatives using Canva
• Edit short videos/reels for social media (optional but useful)
• Post content on Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business, and YouTube
• Maintain posting schedules and basic marketing trackers
• Update listings on travel platforms (Airbnb/Booking.com—simple text/photo updates only)

D. Occasional Operational Assistance (Minimal)

• Use predefined templates to respond to customer inquiries only when required
• Assist with communication for bookings during team absence

3. Required Skills

Must Have (Core Technical Skills)

• Basic experience with React.js
• Understanding of Next.js fundamentals (routing, components, SSR/CSR basics)
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Ability to work with APIs (even at beginner level)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging ability

Good to Have

• Git/GitHub knowledge
• UI/UX design interest
• Canva or basic graphic design skills
• Video editing (CapCut, VN, Premiere Rush, etc.)
• SEO fundamentals
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS or Material UI
• Any personal projects to showcase

4. Eligibility & Qualifications

• B.Tech / BCA / BSc (Computer Science / IT) or related field
• Fresher or 0–2 years experience
• Portfolio, GitHub profile, or project samples preferred (even small ones)
• Passion for modern web development

5. Work Schedule

• 6 days per week
• Office-based role from our workspace in KPHB
• Flexible timings depending on project workload
• Occasional evening support if a website update is urgent
