Job Description

BMC Industries is looking for an experienced Senior Lead Welder & Fitter to spearhead our fabrication unit. We specialize in heavy-duty industrial sheds, ISMB columns,I BEAM Structures and pipe structures. We need a leader who is technically sound, error-free in execution, and capable of managing a team of 10+ welders.

Key Responsibilities

• Drawing Mastery: Must be able to read and interpret complex Production Drawings and structural blueprints (ISMB, Trusses, Pipe joints) without supervision.
• Team Management: Supervise a team of MIG and Arc welders, ensuring high productivity and quality control.
• Precision Fitting: Marking, cutting, and fit-up of materials before final welding to ensure zero dimensional errors.
• Welding Oversight: Ensuring high-quality penetration and finish for pipe sheds and heavy structural columns.
• Material Management: Minimizing wastage and ensuring the right gauge of metal is used as per project specs.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 5–15 years in Structural/Shed Fabrication.

• Welding Expertise: Must be proficient in MIG/CO2 and Arc (SMAW) welding. Knowledge of pipe welding is a must.
• Leadership: Previous experience as a Foreman, Line Lead, or Senior Fitter.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ISMB/ISMC sections, pipe gauges, and truss calculations.
• Salary & BenefitsSalary: ₹ 25,000 – 40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience).
