Job Description

  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Design, implement, and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the two-wheeler finance product portfolio.
  • Identify growth opportunities and target segments within the market to increase product adoption and revenue.
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to maximize market penetration and competitive advantage.
  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve business targets and KPIs.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to sales team members.
  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to enhance team effectiveness and drive results.
  • Business Development & Market Expansion:
  • Drive new business development by identifying and engaging new customers, dealers, and partners in the two-wheeler financing space.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including dealerships, third-party agents, and brokers.
  • Ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities for customer acquisition and loan growth.
  • Customer Acquisition & Retention:
  • Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new customers, including retail customers, dealers, and institutional clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business and customer loyalty.
  • Resolve customer queries and ensure timely and efficient processing of finance applications.
  • Sales Operations Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, ensuring smooth execution of all sales processes.
  • Track and measure the performance of the team and sales activities, making adjustments to strategy as necessary to meet business goals.
  • Work with the operations and underwriting teams to streamline sales processes and improve conversion rates.
  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer demands to keep the company’s products competitive and relevant.
  • Provide actionable insights to product and marketing teams for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
  • Provide regular sales reports, progress updates, and forecasts to senior management.
  • Track key sales metrics such as conversion rates, loan book growth, and delinquency rates.
  • Offer insights and suggestions for optimizing sales performance and achieving business goals.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
  • Work closely with the marketing, underwriting, risk, and collections teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the credit and operations teams to ensure smooth loan disbursal and customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role within the financial services or lending sector.
  • Strong background in two-wheeler financing or consumer lending is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, managing a team, and driving business growth.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive high performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of the two-wheeler financing products, market trends, and customer requirements.
  • Analytical skills to assess performance data, market conditions, and customer feedback.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Excel, and other relevant sales tools.
