Job Description
- Production Planning & ControlPlan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules as per sales requirements
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, and materials
- Monitor production targets and take corrective actions for delays
- Process & Operations ManagementSupervise glass cutting, polishing, toughening, lamination, IGU, and fabrication processes
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, drawings, and technical specifications
- Reduce wastage, breakage, and rework through process improvements
- Quality AssuranceEnsure product quality meets customer and industry standards
- Coordinate with QC team to resolve quality issues
- Implement continuous improvement and root cause analysis
- Manpower ManagementAllocate work to supervisors, operators, and helpers
- Train staff on machines, safety, and quality standards
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline
- Maintenance & SafetyCoordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, PPE usage, and housekeeping
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Inventory & Cost ControlMonitor raw material consumption (glass sheets, interlayers, chemicals, consumables)
- Control production costs and minimize material loss
- Maintain production reports and MIS
- Coordination & ReportingCoordinate with Sales, Planning, Purchase, and Dispatch teams
- Prepare daily production reports, efficiency reports, and downtime analysis
- Support audits and certifications (ISO, safety audits)
