Credit Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and underwrite Home Loan and LAP proposals as per credit policy
• Assess borrower’s income, repayment capacity, credit history, and financial strength
• Evaluate property documents, legal & technical reports, and collateral valuation
• Conduct financial analysis of salaried and self-employed customers (ITR, BS, P&L, bank statements)
• Prepare credit appraisal notes (CAM/Credit Memo) with clear risk assessment and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, RBI, and internal policy norms
• Coordinate with sales, legal, technical, and operations teams for smooth processing
• Identify and flag credit risks, policy deviations, and early warning signals
• Maintain TAT adherence and support business growth with prudent credit decisions
• Assist in audits, portfolio reviews, and post-disbursement monitoring

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Graduate/Post-Graduate in Finance, Commerce, or Management
• Relevant experience in HL/LAP underwriting or credit appraisal (freshers may be considered for junior roles)
• Strong understanding of secured lending products and credit risk principles
