Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:1. Dispatch Planning & CoordinationPlan and schedule daily dispatches as per sales orders and production completion.
- Coordinate with Production, Sales, and Stores departments for ready stock.
- Ensure priority-based dispatch for urgent or committed deliveries.
- 2. Documentation & CompliancePrepare and verify dispatch documents (Invoice, E-way Bill, Delivery Challan, LR copy).
- Maintain proper records of outward material movement.
- Ensure GST and transport compliance before dispatch.
- 3. Inventory & Stock ControlVerify finished goods before dispatch (quantity, size, quality).
- Coordinate with Store department for correct stock issue.
- Maintain dispatch register and daily dispatch report.
- 4. Loading & Transport ManagementSupervise loading/unloading of materials.
- Ensure proper packaging to avoid transit damage.
- Coordinate with transporters and ensure timely vehicle placement.
- Track vehicle movement and confirm delivery status.
- 5. Team SupervisionSupervise dispatch helpers and loading staff.
- Ensure discipline and safety compliance in dispatch area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organized dispatch yard.
- 6. ReportingSubmit daily/weekly dispatch reports to management.
- Maintain pending dispatch list and update status.
- Coordinate for damage/shortage claims if any.
