Admission Counsellor
Location: Indore / Bhopal / Other Centers
Role Type: Full-Time

Role Overview
The Admission Counsellor will be the primary point of contact for aspiring students and parents. This role involves guiding students toward the right career path, explaining academic programs, and converting inquiries into confirmed admissions. The counsellor will manage the complete admission journey, from first contact to enrolment.
This is a communication- and target-driven role requiring proactive calling, lead handling, counselling, follow-ups, and conversion. The position demands excellent communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and a strong goal-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
1. Student & Parent Counselling
Counsel students and parents regarding various entrance exams and academic programs.
Understand students’ academic background, interests, and career goals.
Guide students toward the most suitable course based on their profile.
Clearly explain course structure, teaching methodology, and success outcomes.
2. Lead Generation & Follow-ups
Make daily outbound calls to fresh leads generated via campaigns, events, digital platforms, and referrals.
Reconnect with inactive or old leads to revive interest.
Handle walk-ins, inbound calls, and WhatsApp inquiries.
Maintain consistent follow-ups until conversion.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
3. Admission Process Management
Conduct counselling sessions, course briefings, and centre tours.
Assist students with admission forms, documentation, and fee payment.
Maintain accurate records in CRM or internal systems.
4. Coordination & Events
Coordinate with academic teams for demo classes, scholarship tests, and orientations.
Represent the organisation at seminars, school visits, education fairs, and outreach events.
Support marketing and student engagement activities.
5. Communication & Student Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Provide timely updates, reminders, and admission-related support.
Handle queries professionally with patience and clarity.
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi
Strong persuasion and interpersonal abilities
Confident, student-focused approach
Ability to work under targets and pressure
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools (preferred)
