Summary: Position: Storage & SAN Administrator – Pure Storage, NetApp, Cisco MDS, Brocade As an Storage & SAN Administrator, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications that are vital to business functions. You will engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely solutions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and manage Pure Storage arrays (FlashArray, FlashBlade, Purity OS). - Administer and support NetApp ONTAP (7-Mode & Clustered ONTAP) systems. - Provision, monitor, and troubleshoot storage resources across SAN/NAS environments. - Configure and manage Cisco MDS and Brocade SAN Fabric switches, including zoning, ISL configuration, and firmware upgrades. - Perform SAN health checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting fabric-related issues. - Implement best practices for storage performance optimization and capacity planning. - Support replication, snapshots, and DR testing across storage and SAN environments. - Collaborate with VMware, Windows, Linux, and Backup teams to deliver seamless storage and fabric services. - Apply firmware/software upgrades and ensure proactive system health monitoring. - Maintain compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Pure Storage: FlashArray, FlashBlade, Purity OS administration and troubleshooting. - NetApp: ONTAP (7-Mode & Clustered), SnapMirror, SnapVault, CIFS/NFS, iSCSI/FC management. - SAN Fabric Switches: Cisco MDS – zoning, VSAN configuration, IVR, NPIV, firmware upgrades. Brocade – zoning, ISL, FOS upgrades, switch monitoring, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of SAN protocols (FC, FCoE, iSCSI) and NAS protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS). Storage performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Additional Information: - Experience: 5–7 years - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
