Job Title: Assistant Manager – Human Resources

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Grade: Management Position

CTC Range: ₹4.0 – ₹4.5 LPA

Department: Human Resources

Reporting To: HR Manager / Regional HR Head



Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Human Resources to join our team in Indore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing HR policies, managing end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, and supporting the HR team in fostering a positive work environment. This role will play a key part in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, and HR operations at a regional level

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle – sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction processes for new hires
  • Coordinate with staffing partners and internal departments for manpower requirements

Employee Engagement & Welfare:

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities and retention strategies
  • Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolution
  • Drive a positive organizational culture aligned with company values

HR Operations:

  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRMS
  • Handle attendance, leave, and payroll coordination
  • Ensure timely submission of reports and HR data analytics to the management

Compliance & Policy Implementation:

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
  • Coordinate for statutory compliance, audits, and documentation
  • Support implementation of HR policies and process improvements

Performance Management:

  • Assist in driving the annual appraisal process
  • Facilitate performance reviews and training needs analysis

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resource Management or related field
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant HR experience in a corporate or plant setup
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRMS tools
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance is an advantage
  • Based in Indore or willing to relocate
