Job Title: Back Office & Compliance Executive – Solar

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

1. Role Summary:

We are looking for a Back Office & Compliance Executive to manage documentation and compliance work for our residential and commercial solar projects. This role is mainly focused on subsidy, net‑metering and banking documentation and requires high speed, accuracy and comfort with computers.


2. Key Responsibilities:


A. Subsidy Compliance (Core Task)

  • Handle the complete workflow on the PM‑Surya Ghar National Portal – registration, application filling, uploading documents, tracking status and updating records.
  • Check that installed modules and inverters match ALMM (Approved List of Models and Manufacturers) before submitting subsidy applications.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to collect required photos, commissioning reports and customer signatures.


B. Regulatory Liaison – DISCOM / Net Metering

  • Prepare and submit net‑metering and feasibility applications with MP Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran (MP West Discom – Indore).
  • Maintain checklists for each site (application, fees, documents, approvals).
  • Coordinate with DISCOM officials for site inspection and bi‑directional meter installation, and update status in records.


C. Financial & Banking Compliance

  • Prepare basic project reports and documentation sets for bank loans under relevant schemes.
  • Organise and maintain KYC, income proofs and project documents as required by different lenders.
  • Support the accounts team in getting and maintaining GST certificates, invoices and correct GST rates for solar components.


D. Technical & Project Documentation

  • Draft and file Project Completion Reports (PCR) and other MNRE‑required documents after commissioning.
  • Maintain records of earthing certificates, structure stability certificates, test reports, warranty cards and handover documents for each project.
  • Maintain offline physical files and digital folders for each customer as per company format.


E. General Back Office & Data Management

  • Collect customer documents from the sales / site teams and check for completeness and correctness.
  • Prepare and send quotations / letters in MS Word / PDF and share on WhatsApp/email when needed.
  • Update and maintain all project data in Google Sheets / MS Excel with high accuracy.
  • Support management with simple reports (projects in progress, subsidy status, bank file status, net‑metering status).


3. Candidate Profile:


Must‑have

  • Fresher or 0–1 year experience in back office / documentation work (insurance, automobile dealer, electrical business, bank / NBFC / government office experience is acceptable).
  • Good typing and writing speed with strong attention to detail; low error rate in data entry.
  • Comfortable with computers and internet – can operate independently without help.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Google Sheets, Email, Scanning and PDF tools.
  • Ability to follow processes and checklists and learn new portals quickly.
  • Basic communication in Hindi and simple English (reading official documents).
  • Honest, reliable and willing to handle confidential documents carefully.


Good to have

  • Experience in solar, electrical or government portal work.
  • Knowledge of GST basics, bank loan files, or DISCOM processes.


4. Education:

  • Minimum: 12th pass with strong computer skills.
  • Basic computer course / diploma preferred.


5. Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: ₹10,000 – ₹14,000 per month (based on skills and experience).
  • Performance‑linked increment and bonus as per company policy after probation.
  • Training will be provided on PM‑Surya Ghar portal, DISCOM processes, and internal formats.


6. Work Schedule:

  • Working days: 6 days a week.
  • Location: Office‑based role in Indore (with occasional visits to DISCOM / bank if needed).

  • Fast learner, ready to understand new schemes and rules.
  • Able to work quietly for long durations on forms and data without losing focus.
  • Respects deadlines and keeps seniors updated on file status.
