Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesDocumentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain client files, invoices, receipts, and compliance records.
- Organize and update digital and physical records systematically.
- Data Entry & Processing
- Enter accounting and tax-related data into software (Tally, Excel, or firm-specific tools).
- Assist in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and audit reports.
- Administrative Support
- Handle correspondence (emails, letters, notices) with clients and government authorities.
- Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and support client communication.
- Compliance Assistance
- Support in filing GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
- Track deadlines for statutory filings and assist in preparing necessary documents.
- Coordination
- Liaise with front-office staff, accountants, and consultants to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Provide support during audits, client reviews, and tax assessments.
- š ļø Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (Tally, Busy, QuickBooks).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Good communication skills (written & verbal).
- Ability to work under deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- š QualificationsBachelorās degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com preferred).
- Prior experience in accounting/CA firm back-office operations is an advantage.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge and eagerness to learn may also apply.
