 Accounting Executive (with Purchase & Procurement Responsibility)

Job Overview:


We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting Executive who can efficiently manage company accounts while also handling purchase and procurement responsibilities. The candidate should have a technical or engineering background to evaluate materials, assess quotations, and ensure cost-effective and quality procurement from multiple vendors.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounts & Finance:


  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliation, and payment records.
  • Maintain vendor accounts, purchase invoices, and stock-related entries in the system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all financial data related to purchases and expenses.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for timely payments and expense control.


Purchase & Procurement:


  • Evaluate and assess purchase requirements from various departments and showrooms.
  • Obtain, compare, and negotiate multiple quotations from different vendors for cost optimization.
  • Purchase materials from official, commercial, and technical sources after thorough analysis.
  • Maintain vendor relations and develop a database of reliable suppliers.
  • Ensure timely procurement of quality materials at the best possible price.
  • Work closely with the technical and accounts team to ensure proper documentation and billing.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies to increase company profitability.



Required Qualifications & Skills:


  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / BBA with experience in accounts OR B.E / Diploma (Electrical / Mechanical) preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2–5 years in accounts and purchase function.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and inventory management.
  • Must understand technical specifications of electrical and industrial materials.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to evaluate cost-benefit and ensure every purchase adds value to the organization.
