Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Strategy: Design and implement a strategic business plan to expand the company’s customer base and ensure a strong market presence for dehydrated products.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to maximize performance and productivity, including recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring.
  • Market Analysis & Business Development: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the dehydrated goods sector to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners by understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Sales Targets & Reporting: Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team, and prepare and present sales, revenue, and expense reports to the management team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production, logistics, marketing, and product development teams to align sales strategies with business goals and ensure seamless order execution.
  • Pricing & Negotiation: Participate in pricing strategies, negotiate contracts and agreements with key clients, and manage the sales budget effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques, particularly within the food or agriculture industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities with a focus on motivation and performance.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Ability to travel to client sites, trade fairs, and exhibitions as needed.
