Job Description
- Prepare civil engineering designs for projects such as roads, drainage systems, utilities, grading, and site development
- Develop detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications using CAD and design software
- Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions
- Review survey data, geotechnical reports, and other technical documents
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations
- Assist with cost estimates, material selection, and construction documentation
- Support construction teams by responding to technical queries and reviewing shop drawings
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
