Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing various components across systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will be responsible for ensuring that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end architecture for Java-based systems (Microservices, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST/gRPC, event streaming).
- Make design decisions: domain modeling, API design, data partitioning, caching, consistency patterns (CQRS, Saga), integration patterns.
- Review high-risk code/PRs for critical services and cross-cutting concerns.
- Define non-functional requirements (NFRs): scalability, resilience, performance, cost, security, observability—ensure they re testable.
- Maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and reference architectures.
- Cloud strategy: pick managed services, right-sizing instances, container vs. serverless, networking, secrets, KMS, IAM.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Own end-to-end architecture.
- Make design decisions.
- Define non-functional requirements (NFRs).
- Maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Cloud Strategy.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and practices.
- Experience with modern software development frameworks and methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software solutions.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools and practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Solution Architecture.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
