Summary: As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing application solutions, and contributing to key decisions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME - Collaborate and manage the team to perform - Responsible for team decisions - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams - Design and develop applications based on business requirements - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements - Create technical specifications and design documents - Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards - Perform unit testing and debugging of applications - Provide technical guidance and support to the development team - Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies - Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives - Train and mentor junior team members Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management - Experience with IT service management processes and best practices - Strong understanding of application design principles and patterns - Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with external systems - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile development methodologies - Familiarity with ITIL framework and practices - Experience with ServiceNow development and customization - Knowledge of database concepts and SQL - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management - This position is based at our Hyderabad office - A 15 years full time education is required
