Role: Fitter/ Installer

Overview: As a Fitter/Welder specializing in gates, shutters, Dock-levellers, Steel Doors and high-speed doors, your primary responsibility will be to assemble, install, and maintain various types of gates, shutters, and doors in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. Your role will involve welding, fabrication, assembly, and installation of these structures to ensure functionality, durability, and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding and Fabrication:

• Utilize welding equipment and tools to fabricate, weld, and assemble gates, shutters, and high-speed doors.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately execute welding and fabrication tasks.
• Select appropriate materials and welding techniques based on the project requirements.

1. Installation and Assembly:

• Install gates, shutters, Doors, high-speed doors on-site or at designated locations according to plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment, functionality, and smooth operation of installed structures.
• Collaborate with a team or independently manage installation tasks as assigned.

1. Maintenance and Repairs:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on installed gates, shutters, and high-speed doors.
• Identify and address any structural or operational issues promptly.
• Perform repairs and replacements of components to ensure optimal performance.

1. Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations while performing welding, fabrication, installation, and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and hazards.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures at all times.

1. Communication and Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople or contractors as needed to coordinate project timelines and tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a welder/fitter specializing in gates, shutters, or related structures.
• Proficiency in welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc welding) and fabrication processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and assembly.
• Knowledge of different types of metals, alloys, and materials used in gate, shutter, and door construction.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in welding and fabrication.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and conditions.
• Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

Salary Bracket : Rs. 18,000 – Rs 25,000 per Month Plus Annual Bonus.
