Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.

- Oversee inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.

- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods.

- Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, minimize stock outs, and prevent overstock situations.

- Implement inventory control measures to prevent shrinkage, theft, and damage.

- Lead and supervise a team of inventory staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast demand and plan inventory replenishment.

- Evaluate and recommend improvements to inventory management processes and systems.

- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in inventory management practices.

- Prepare and present inventory reports and analysis to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

- Proven experience in inventory management or warehouse operations, preferably in a retail or supermarket environment (0.5-2 years).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking and record-keeping.
