Job Profile: Industrial Sales Executive (Electrical Products)
Company: AGECO House / AGECO India Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Indore / Industrial Area Visits
Industry: Electrical Trading – Wires, Cables, Switchgear, Lighting, Motors
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic Industrial Sales Executive responsible for developing business from industrial clients. The candidate will visit factories, interact with purchase managers, maintenance managers, and plant engineers, and generate orders for electrical products including wires, cables, switchgear, lighting, and motors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial Visits
- Visit industrial areas, factories, and manufacturing units regularly.
- Meet Purchase Executives, Maintenance Managers, Electrical Engineers, and Plant Heads.
2. Business Development
- Generate inquiries and orders for:
- Wires & Cables
- Switchgear
- Lighting Solutions
- Motors
- Electrical Accessories
3. Client Relationship
- Build strong relationships with purchase departments and maintenance teams.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with existing and potential industrial customers.
4. Quotations & Orders
- Coordinate with back-office team for quotation preparation.
- Negotiate and finalize orders with clients.
5. Payment Follow-up
- Ensure timely payment collection from industrial clients.
- Coordinate with accounts and customers for smooth transactions.
6. Market Development
- Identify new industries and potential clients.
- Maintain a database of industrial customers and purchasing contacts.
7. Reporting
- Submit daily visit reports and monthly sales targets.
- Update management about market trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of electrical products (wires, cables, switchgear, lighting, motors)
- Ability to build relationships with industrial clients
- Target-oriented sales approach
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical (Preferred)
- OR
- Graduate with experience in electrical industrial sales
Experience
- 2–5 years experience in industrial electrical sales
