Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.

• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), and specifications.
• Perform design calculations and analysis for strength, durability, and performance.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback and testing.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material selection and procurement.
• Support product development from concept to final production.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.

Required Skills:Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles.

• Proficiency in CAD software ( NX ( Unigraphics) SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, .).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, VMC, machining, fabrication).
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Basic knowledge of materials and heat treatment.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

• 0-1 years of experience in mechanical design (or as required).
• Experience in machine design, tooling, or product development preferred.
