Job Title: News Reporter (Ground Reporting)

Job Description:

Batangarh News is hiring experienced and committed News Reporters across India. The reporter will be responsible for on-ground reporting, public interaction, and covering important local and regional issues from their own city or district.

This role requires professionals who understand ground journalism and can independently handle news coverage with responsibility and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Conduct on-ground reporting in the assigned city or district

2) Interact with the public, local authorities, and stakeholders

3) Cover local, civic, social, political, crime, and public interest stories

4) Record videos, sound bytes, interviews, and visuals using a smartphone

5) Share accurate and timely news updates with the editorial team

6) Report breaking news and provide live ground updates when required

Eligibility & Requirements:

1) Minimum 2 years of experience in journalism or news reporting (mandatory)

2) Strong understanding of ground-level reporting

3) Excellent communication and public interaction skills

4) Good knowledge of local and regional issues

5) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

6) Proficiency in smartphone-based video recording and reporting tools

Work Mode:

1) Field Reporting

2) Reporter will work from their own city or district

3) No office attendance required
