 About the Role

 

The Regional Head is a senior leadership position at KFintech, responsible for managing and optimizing all operational, compliance, and client servicing activities across a defined geographic region. This role ensures seamless investor servicing, strong AMC relationships, regulatory adherence, and business continuity, while driving team performance and digital adoption.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Operations Management
  • Oversee investor servicing across regional branches/service centers.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions with strict SLA/TAT adherence.
  • Monitor daily MIS, productivity metrics, and operational dashboards.
  • Guarantee uninterrupted business continuity during critical situations.

 

Client (AMC) Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary regional contact for Asset Management Companies (AMCs).
  • Conduct periodic service review meetings and address escalations.
  • Support AMCs in investor outreach programs and awareness campaigns.

 

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, AMFI guidelines, and internal audit frameworks.
  • Monitor adherence to KYC/AML norms and coordinate with compliance teams during inspections.
  • Guarantee 100% regulatory compliance across branches.
  • Ensure NISM Series 2B certification for front-office executives and completion of mandatory learning modules.

 

Investor Service Excellence

  • Drive superior investor experience across service points.
  • Handle critical complaints and escalations, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery.

 

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead branch managers and regional operations teams.
  • Manage workforce planning, hiring, performance reviews, and capability building.
  • Maintain attrition below 10% through engagement and recognition programs.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and innovation within teams.

 

Business Development & Channel Engagement

  • Strengthen relationships with distributors, IFAs, banks, and channel partners.
  • Support AMCs in expanding investor reach and promoting digital adoption.
  • Drive investor awareness initiatives across the region.

 

Risk Management & Process Control

  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct monthly audits and enforce fraud prevention controls.
  • Monitor exception reports, suspicious transactions, and revenue leakage.
  • Ensure strict approval protocols for bills and expenses.

 

Technology & Process Implementation

  • Champion adoption of digital platforms (IRIS, Mailback Services, automation tools).
  • Coordinate system upgrades and new process rollouts.
  • Ensure teams are trained and proficient in new technologies.

 

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare and review regional MIS, SLA, and productivity reports.
  • Present performance dashboards and service quality metrics to senior management.

 

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with head office operations, compliance, risk, and technology teams.
  • Collaborate with AMCs, distributors, and external stakeholders for seamless execution.
