Retail Store Manager

Job Summary

A Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and driving sales performance. They ensure the store runs efficiently and meets business goals.

Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations

• Manage day-to-day store activities
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment

2. Sales & Performance

• Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability
• Analyze sales reports and identify improvement areas
• Implement promotional strategies and campaigns

3. Team Management

• Hire, train, and supervise store staff
• Create employee schedules and manage attendance
• Motivate team members to meet performance goals

4. Customer Service

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
• Build strong customer relationships

5. Inventory & Stock Control

• Track stock levels and prevent losses (shrinkage)
• Conduct regular stock audits
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors

6. Financial Management

• Manage store budgets and expenses
• Handle cash management and billing procedures
• Prepare financial and sales reports
