Job Description

Job Title: Solar Sales ExecutiveJob Overview:A Solar Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, or industrial customers. The role involves generating leads, explaining solar products, conducting site visits, and closing sales to help customers switch to renewable energy.

  • Key Responsibilities:Identify and generate new sales opportunities through field visits, referrals, and networking
  • Educate customers about solar energy systems, benefits, cost savings, and government subsidies
  • Conduct site surveys to assess customer requirements and feasibility
  • Prepare and present customized solar proposals and quotations
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
  • Coordinate with technical teams for installation and project completion
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients for repeat business and referrals
  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets
  • Stay updated on solar industry trends, policies, and incentives
  • Required Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic technical understanding of solar systems (training often provided)
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in the field
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Good presentation skills
  • Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma (any field, preferably business/engineering)
  • Experience in sales (solar/energy sector preferred but not mandatory)
  • Freshers with strong communication skills can also apply
  • Preferred Experience:Experience in renewable energy, electrical products, or B2C/B2B sales
  • Knowledge of local solar policies and subsidy programs
  • Salary & Benefits:Fixed salary + performance-based incentives
  • Travel allowance (if field job)
