💼 About the RoleVakpati Jewellers Limited is hiring a Senior Accountant who can independently handle complete accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance for a jewellery business.

The candidate must have strong experience in Tally ERP / Prime, GST, TDS, ITR, and jewellery‑industry‑specific accounting.

📝 Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Accounting & Book‑KeepingMaintain Day‑to‑Day Accounting in Tally (Sales, Purchase, Contra, Journal, Payment, Receipt).

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and cash books.
• Maintain inventory accounting for gold, silver, diamond & bullion stock.
• Manage debtors & creditors with ageing analysis.
• Prepare final accounts, Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet.

2️⃣ Tax & Statutory CompliancesGST Filing & Reconciliation

• GST Filing & Reconcilation
• GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑2A/2B reconciliation
• E‑way bill generation
• GST input/output adjustments
• TDS Compliances
• Filing TDS returns
• Vendor TDS deduction & challan payment
• Income Tax
• Assist in filing company ITR
• Handling notices & responding to queries
• Other Compliances
• PT, PF, ESIC (if applicable)
• ROC and statutory documentation support

3️⃣ Jewellery Industry Specific TasksGold stock reconciliation (Gross weight vs Net weight).

• Billing for 18K/22K jewellery including making charges, wastage, V-A-T, stone charges.
• Purchase & sale of bullion and ornaments.
• Coordinating with auditors for yearly stock verification.

📊 ReportingMonthly MIS reports for management.

• Daily cash & stock reporting.
• Quarterly financial statements for directors.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience3–7 years experience in accounting (jewellery industry preferred).

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Prime.
• Deep understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC & Audit procedures.
• Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS).
• Ability to work independently with accuracy.

🎓 QualificationB.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
