Job Description: Support Engineer (System Monitoring & Operations)

Location: Indore (Work from Office)

Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month (depending on current CTC & skill fit)

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Role OverviewSignalz is building a dedicated support & monitoring team to ensure system sanity, uptime, and operational reliability. We are currently facing gaps in proactive monitoring—especially on our Angel integration—and we need someone who takes ownership, flags issues early, and keeps systems in check before they escalate.

This role is not passive support. It is an active monitoring and first-response role.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Monitoring & Sanity ChecksContinuously monitor platform health, integrations (especially Angel instance), APIs, and background jobs.
• Perform daily sanity checks on:
• Order flows
• Data sync
• Alerts, triggers, and integrations
• Proactively identify anomalies, failures, or unusual behavior.
• Issue Detection & EscalationEnsure issues are called out immediately, not after users complain.
• Create clear incident reports with:
• Time of issue
• Impact
• Suspected root cause
• Coordinate with tech/product teams for fast resolution.
• Process & Checklist OwnershipBuild and maintain monitoring checklists and SOPs.
• Ensure checks are actually performed and logged.
• Suggest improvements to monitoring, alerts, and automation.
• Support & CoordinationAct as the first line of response for system-related issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams (tech, product, ops).
• Track issues to closure and ensure no repeats.
• Required Skills & MindsetBasic understanding of:
• Web applications
• APIs
• System logs / dashboards
• Strong attention to detail — nothing slips unnoticed.
• Ownership mindset — you don’t wait to be told something is broken.
• Clear communication and escalation discipline.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Good to HaveExperience in:
• SaaS support
• System monitoring / NOC / ops roles
• Fintech or trading platforms
• Familiarity with tools like dashboards, logs, or ticketing systems.
