Travel Consultant Job Description

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team. As a Travel Consultant, you'll plan, organize, and book travel itineraries for individuals, groups, and corporate clients. Freshers welcome!

Key Responsibilities

1.⁠ ⁠Consult with clients to understand travel requirements and preferences

2.⁠ ⁠Research and recommend destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities

3.⁠ ⁠Book travel arrangements (flights, hotels, car rentals, tours)

4.⁠ ⁠Manage bookings, update client records, and process payments

5.⁠ ⁠Provide travel advice (visa requirements, travel insurance, health regulations)

6.⁠ ⁠Troubleshoot travel-related issues

7.⁠ ⁠Build relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners

8.⁠ ⁠Stay updated on industry trends, destinations, and travel regulations

Requirements

1.⁠ ⁠Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field (preferred)

2.⁠ ⁠Experience: 0-2 years in the travel industry (freshers welcome)

3.⁠ ⁠Travel knowledge: Basic understanding of international destinations and travel regulations

4.⁠ ⁠Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication

5.⁠ ⁠Organizational skills: Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage multiple bookings

6.⁠ ⁠Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and willingness to learn travel software
