Video Editor

ABOUT THE ROLE 

Cocosto is a software UI/UX design studio building thoughtful digital experiences for clients across India. We're growing our in-house content team and are looking for a skilled Video Editor who can shoot, craft, and optimize visual content that tells our story across social media platforms. 

If you're passionate about visual storytelling, comfortable behind the camera as well as in the edit suite, and thrive in a fast-moving creative environment — we'd love to meet you. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

Shoot and record video content for social media campaigns, reels, and promotional material 

Edit and post-produce videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms 

Create motion graphics and animated visuals using Adobe After Effects 

Design static and animated social media creatives in Photoshop and Figma 

Optimise video formats, aspect ratios, and compression for each platform 

Collaborate closely with Ops Coordinators, Social Media Managers, and Designers to execute content calendars 

Maintain consistency with Cocosto's brand identity across all visual assets 

Organise and manage media assets, project files, and export deliverables 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

Minimum 1 year of hands-on video editing and production experience 

Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effect 

Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Photoshop for static graphics 

Comfortable operating a camera and managing basic studio/on-location shoots 

Strong sense of pacing, color grading, and audio mixing 

Familiar with social media content trends and platform-specific requirements 

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines 

A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your editing and motion work 

TOOLS & SOFTWARE 

Adobe Premiere Pro or Similar Video Editing Software 

 Adobe After Effects or Similar 

Adobe Photoshop or Affinity Suite 

Figma (Optional)
