VMC Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled VMC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain Vertical Machining Center machines. The candidate should have experience in precision machining, reading technical drawings, and ensuring high-quality production standards.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor VMC machines to perform machining operations.
• Set up workpieces, fixtures, and tools as per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
• Ensure proper clamping and alignment of components.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
• Maintain quality standards and minimize rejection.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Troubleshoot minor machine or process issues.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• 0-1 years of experience as a VMC/CNC operator.
• Good understanding of machining processes and tooling.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality control.

• Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fixture setup and precision clamping.
• Knowledge of zero-point clamping systems or modular vises.
• Ability to handle production targets efficiently.
