Job Summary:

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for the overall management of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, dispatch, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations

Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.

Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to avoid damage or loss.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and discipline inside the warehouse.

1. Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock records in system and physical registers.

Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.

Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages or excess stock.

1. Dispatch & Logistics

Ensure timely dispatch of materials as per sales or service requirements.

Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners.

Verify dispatch documents such as delivery challans, invoices, and gate passes.

1. Team Supervision

Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and helpers.

Assign daily tasks and monitor performance.

Ensure staff follows company policies and safety guidelines.

1. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain inward and outward registers.

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warehouse reports.

Update ERP/Excel records regularly.

1. Coordination

Coordinate with purchase, sales, accounts, and service teams.

Support urgent or priority dispatches when required.

1. Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs.

Report any incidents, damages, or discrepancies immediately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Graduate or equivalent (preferred).

2–5 years of experience in warehouse management.

Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse processes.

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP preferred).

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to handle pressure and urgent requirements.

1. Inventory accuracy
2. Timely dispatches
3. Stock loss/damage control
4. Warehouse discipline and safety compliance
