The Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) Scheme is an initiative of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India.

It helps industries improve:

Quality (Zero Defect)

Environment standards (Zero Effect)

Safety, efficiency, and sustainability

MSMEs also receive financial incentives, training, and support under this scheme.

ZED Bronze Certification – What You Will Assess

After your survey and inspection, eligible industries are awarded the ZED Bronze Certificate.

You will assess 7 key parameters:

1. Leadership

2. Clean & Swachh Workplace

3. Workplace / Occupational Safety

4. Measurement of Timely Delivery

5. Quality Management

6. Energy Management

7. Measurement and Analysis

You will be trained on each point so you can guide industries properly.

As a facilitator, you should:

Understand ZED certification standards

Conduct industry surveys

Collect data in the official MSME format

Support eligible industries through the ZED process
